ILM Recognized Coaching and Mentoring Skills for Managers and Supervisors
Course Methodology
In this course, participants will engage in extensive role-plays to develop their coaching and mentoring skills. Participants will also give mini presentations to the groups to demonstrate and share their understanding of the course material. Group activities will also be used to deal with challenging cases, and participants will receive feedback on their coaching and mentoring.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Differentiate between coaching, counseling, and mentoring, and explain key coaching concepts, types, and behavioral frameworks.
- Demonstrate effective coaching styles and apply core coaching competencies, including active listening and information-gathering techniques.
